FOR ACCOMPANYING PERSONS PLEASE NOTE that separate payment is required for those accompanying persons who need transportation to/from Siglufjörður, lunches/dinners during the conference, wish to participate in activities and the full-day excursion and the final dinner. This can be arranged with a single payment on the registration page. However, if participants with accompanying persons are arranging their own transportation, it is not neccessary to register or pay the up-front fee the accompanying person, just make sure that the participant books a double room, indicating “accompanying person” as preferred roommate. Individual access to activities, full-day excursion and final dinner for accompanying persons can be purchased on-site. Participants, however, will only have the option of paying fixed all-inclusive conference fee, regardless of their mode of transportation, etc.

Please submit abstracts before Nov 15th 2016 to according to the following guidelines

• Title must be written in Calibri 11, bold, centered, capital letters
• Authors and affiliations: in Calibri 10, centered, presenting author must be underlined
• Email:, in Calibri 10, italics, centered
• Body: , in Calibri 10, justified
– The file should be in WORD format.
– Margins: top, bottom and right: 1 cm. Left: 2cm
– Only text is allowed.
– Abstracts must not exceed one A5 page (14,8cm x 21cm) and must be written in English

Registration fees will be charged in Icelandic currency. Amounts in USD shown below are approximate, based on the currency exchange rate on Sept 5th 2016. Note that the number of single rooms is limited and following the tradition of the 1st DINAMO conference, participants are offered to share double rooms. Prices below are per person.

Financial support

Full or partial financial support is available for graduate students and postdocs who will present electronic posters (limited spaces available). Application for financial support should be sent with the abstract. Additionally, students should send a letter of recommendation and a brief statement about their interest in the conference to The amount of support will be decided by the organizing committee and communicated to the participants. As participation of students/postdocs may be contingent on the level of support, the registration for students/postdocs will remain open until January 22, 2017
